Congratulations to all team members for contributing to yet another AAAA aggregate championship! The aggregate champion team is the team with the most points across all categories (varsity, junior varsity, boys, girls) combined. This is a true statement of the depth of our team, the hard work put in by all athletes involved and the dedication of the coaches! Great job Clippers!!

Congratulations to Rachel McLeod (former Kelvin student) for being named to the University of Manitoba Bisons 4 x 200m relay team. Rachel is the anchor (last runner) for the team which is currently ranked 1st in Canada with a time of 1:41.37.
Rachel is a first year member of the Bisons team and graduated from Kelvin in 2014. Great job Rachel! You can help the KELVIN BOYS TRACK TEAM win the POWERADE SCHOOL SPIRIT AWARD at the Nike High School Grand Prix. All you have to do is TWEET #ClippersTrack #HSGP14 as many times as possible between now and May 10! Thanks for your help in making Kelvin the team with the most spirit!

Starting this week, there will be optional sprint practices Thursday after school. We will begin around 3:45 and will finish aroud 4:45. The emphasis is strictly on speed development, top speed, acceleration and sprint mechanics. All are welcome! See Mr. Charrière in room 7 if you have any questions.
2 records broken during last indoor track series meetCongratulations to Borzah Yankey for breaking 2 school records during the March 4th High School Track Series meet. Borzah broke the long jump school record, formerly held by Ben Allen, by a whopping 14cm! The new mark to beat is 6.56m. He followed this performance with another record breaking effort, beating the 2011 High Jump record by 3cm and raising the mark to 1.83m. 1 meet, two personal bests, 2 school records. Great job Borzah!
During another very successful meet, the girls sprint medley team set a new school record, shattering the old record by 3 seconds! Scierra Opaleke also set a new school record in the 200m sprint. Must be the Olympic spirit driving our athletes to be stronger,
